Born in Pietrasanta in 1983, Matteo graduated with highest honors from the University of Pisa in 2009.

He has been a member of the Florence Bar Association since 2013.

He began collaborating with Lessona Law Firm in 2009 and became a partner in 2020.

He has gained considerable experience in public and private employment law, administrative law, and civil law.

He attended and successfully completed the “Advanced Training School in Labour Law, Trade Union Law, and Social Security Law” established by AGI – Italian Employment Lawyers’ Association.

He provides ongoing judicial and extrajudicial assistance and consultancy in labour law—both private and public—with particular attention to employment relationships within Public Administrations and private companies, including publicly-owned companies; in proceedings before the Court of Auditors; in social security law; in administrative law, with particular focus on public recruitment procedures and the employment relationships of non-contractualized public personnel; and in civil law.

He provides ongoing assistance and consultancy in matters of personal data protection, transparency, and anti-corruption.

He provides assistance and consultancy in matters of medical liability.

In his areas of expertise, he regularly carries out teaching, professional development, and training activities for Public Administrations, publicly- and privately-owned companies, and their employees, and is the author of several publications.

He has participated as a speaker at numerous conferences and seminars on these subjects.

He has served on many occasions as a commissioner or consultant in competitive procedures and public tenders.

He is a member of both AGI – Italian Employment Lawyers’ Association and the Tuscan Society of Administrative Lawyers.
