Lia has been registered with the Bar Association since 1 January 2003 and has been admitted to practice before the Higher Courts since 2016.
She has been a partner of the Lessona Law Firm in Florence since 2020 and has been working with the Firm since 2000, initially as a trainee and subsequently as an associate, mainly in the field of administrative law. She has undertaken judicial and extrajudicial assignments on behalf of both Public Administrations and private clients.
She provides legal consultancy and assistance primarily in administrative law, with particular focus on urban planning, construction, expropriations, environmental matters, and the ownership of public assets, including cultural and religious heritage, as well as the related regulatory and protection frameworks.
She has handled procedures concerning the drafting and amendment of territorial governance instruments, implementation plans, and the construction of public works—such as roadworks, flood retention basins, and public infrastructure in general—both in relation to procedural compliance and to the protections afforded by the Consolidated Law on Expropriations.
She has initiated and conducted litigation for private clients and associations challenging the approval and location of public works projects affecting private properties, including wind farms, power lines, rail networks, highway lane expansions, and renewable energy production plants. She has also dealt with matters relating to building and landscape violations on behalf of both Public Administrations and private individuals.
She provides consultancy and assistance on all issues related to private property and building procedures, both in extrajudicial contexts and in civil and administrative litigation.
She has provided consultancy and assistance to numerous public administrations in drafting expropriation acts, amendments to general and detailed urban planning instruments, agreements between administrations concerning the transfer of assets, the construction of public works, and programme agreements.
She carries out continuous professional training and teaching activities in her areas of expertise and is the author of several publications.
She is a member of the Tuscan Society of Administrative Lawyers.
