Domenico has been a member of the Florence Bar Association since 1984 and has been admitted to practice before the Court of Cassation and the Higher Courts since 1997.

He began collaborating with Lessona Law Firm in 1985 and became senior partner in 1989.

He has gained extensive experience in administrative, civil, public employment, and tax litigation (local taxes).

He has nearly forty years of experience in the fields of construction, urban planning, public and private procurement, public recruitment procedures, quarries and mines, environmental law, commerce, healthcare, public services, public accounting, administrative liability, land reclamation, employment relationships within Public Administrations and publicly-owned companies, and medical liability.

He has provided judicial representation as well as ongoing extrajudicial assistance and consultancy in these areas and in all other fields of administrative law, on behalf of both public and private clients, including more than one hundred Public Administrations and public law bodies.

He has held numerous appointments as a member and chair of arbitral tribunals in ordinary and administered arbitration proceedings.

He has served as a member and chair of administrative bodies in corporations and foundations.

He has carried out and continues to carry out training and teaching activities in his areas of expertise for private organizations and various university-level specialization and advanced training schools.

He is the author of a monograph and more than sixty publications in administrative law, administrative procedural law, and public employment law.

He also serves as Secretary of the Tuscan Society of Administrative Lawyers, chairing its Executive Committee, and as a Board Member of the National Union of Administrative Lawyers.

Academic Position

Between 1990 and 2017, he taught for more than twenty academic years at the Faculty of Law of the University of Siena as Adjunct Professor of Administrative Law, and held supplementary courses at the Faculty of Economic and Banking Sciences of the same University as lecturer in Administrative Law and Public Employment Law.
